A little bit Kevin
I didn’t set out to become a Realtor—it almost happened by accident. In my 20s, I was a risk-taker who made some questionable choices. Growing up in Austin, I had a wide network and a knack for trading, but I often found myself on the wrong side of the law. Looking back, discovering real estate may have been the turning point that saved my life.
I knew I didn’t want to keep going down the same path, so I left Austin and spent a year in New York, living with a high school friend and his mom. I sold cars at United Auto Mall in Queens—a valuable experience, but Texas was always home. When I returned, I went to work at my family’s boutique dry-cleaning business in West Austin. My dad taught me the importance of customer service, but I still felt the pull to do something bigger.
Then one day, a “For Sale” sign went up two doors down from the house I was renting. A month later, I owned that home—the very first property I ever looked at. It needed work, but I was handy and resourceful. I fixed it up, rented out rooms to cover the mortgage, and within a year bought another house... then another. That’s when I caught the real estate bug.
My early experiences weren’t always smooth. I learned the hard way about bad tenants, weak insurance, and the challenges of short sales. At the time, few agents knew how to navigate them, so I got licensed, did the research, and figured it out myself. Before long, others started asking for my help. What began as a survival skill became a passion: guiding families through tough real estate challenges.
Over the years, I’ve completed more than 500 transactions, flipped properties, built a small rental portfolio, and even created a successful short-term rental in Port Aransas. But my greatest pride is the trust I’ve earned with the families I’ve served. Real trust doesn’t come from words—it comes from actions and always doing the next right thing.
Today, I live in Cedar Park with my family, grateful for the life we’ve built. Family is why I turned my own life around, and it’s why I work so hard for the families I represent. Every parent wants the best for their kids—and when you’re making big decisions about where to live, you deserve someone who puts your interests first.
My journey may have started by accident, but it has led me exactly where I was meant to be: helping people turn houses into homes and investments into opportunities.
